One of my true passions in photography was the opportunity of photographing couples in love. And that’s how I fell in love with Wedding Photography, and it started over 45 years ago.
I have been honored by so many couples who entrusted me with what was to become one of the most important events of their life, their very special wedding day. And I have so many fond memories and made so many friends of the many couples who have kept in touch through the years.
I can still recall my very first wedding. I had enlisted in the U. S. Air Force and after finishing my technical schooling in 1968, I was assigned to my permanent station, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC.
An Airmen, in my shop was getting married and he saw that I had an interest in photography and asked me to photograph his wedding. Shortly afterwards, one of my high school friends was also getting married and wanted me to drive up to Allentown, PA to photograph his wedding and so I did. I also have Sgt. Williams to thank for letting me borrow his suit on my first 2 weddings.
So that began my journey and adventure into the wonderful world of wedding photography. Now, as I retire from wedding photography, I would like again to thank everyone who gave me their trust and confidence in the role as their wedding photographer and later as their family portrait photographer . You have a special place in my heart. I wish you all the best and still look forward to many more years of adventure in portrait photography.
